A downloadable Batch OSes for Windows

The RMenu Archives is where older versions of RMenu (and Aqua OS) are archived and made available to those who are curious and want to check them out.

So far, these are the versions that are available:

  • Aqua OS (1.0) [March 27th, 2018] ~ Aqua OS.zip - The very first version of Aqua OS, and perhaps the most simple out of all of them.
  • Aqua OS Sky (2.0) [April 15th, 2018] ~ Aqua OS Sky.zip - The second version of Aqua OS, which unfortunately suffers from a serious bug that prevents you from logging in.
  • Aqua OS Sky (2.1) [May 8th, 2022] ~ AquaOS Sky 2.1.zip - An update that I made very recently (during RMenu 3's development) that makes many needed changes (such as fixing the login bug)
  • RMenu 3 (3.0) [January 10th, 2022] ~ RMenu 3.zip - The return of the batch OS, and also a complete overhaul when compared to previous versions.
  • RMenu 4|X21 (Public Preview) [March 27th, 2022] ~ RMenu 4.zip Public Preview / RMenu X21 Public Preview.zip - Development versions of RMenu 4 and RMenu X21 that were released publicly for testing and for developers to be able to make applications early.
  • RMenu 4|X21 (4.0) [April 23rd, 2022] ~ RMenu 4.zip/RMenu X21.zip - The fourth major version of RMenu, and also the first complete release to be released in two versions.

Install instructions

Simply unzip the .zip file you download and then run the following depending on what version of RMenu / Aqua OS you downloaded:

For Aqua OS 1.0, Aqua OS Sky 2.0, and Aqua OS Sky 2.1, you have to run Startup.bat. However, keep in mind that Aqua OS Sky 2.0 suffers from a bug where the window closes when you log in.

For anything from RMenu 3 onwards, you can run __Run.bat (for versions that don't include BatchLoad) or __Boot.bat (for versions that include BatchLoad).

You can also run these versions of RMenu/Aqua OS inside of AquaRunner (which is included with RMenu 3 onwards), as long as the specific version of AquaRunner supports it.
